This bridge originally developed during WWII is still in use today so can be used with models ranging from the Sherman to the Bradley.  Like all of our range it is designed with both the static and radio control modeller in mind. It can be built in a few hours with just wood and superglue. No other tools are required.
 
Our models can be used straight out of the box or form the basis of a super detailed model. By keeping our models basic we keep the costs down enabling us to bring projects to the community that have been to date not possible in the traditional materials such as injection plastic.
 
 
The kit is made of 3mm, 4mm & 6mm MDF.  It is designed so that modellers can extend it in both length and height. Accessories for this are available in our Web shop.
 
We offer no guarantee of load capability. As we are not supplying a finished bridge we cannot verify the maximum load bearing level of the structure. It is therefore up to the model builder to test the structure and ascertain its limits. The model is designed for use indoors and outside only in dry weather. It should be stored in a dry warm place all year. We advise against outside storage.

We have not included printed instructions with our model kits to reduce costs to the client.  Instructions are available for download on the Scarecrow home page of this site for the Bailey Bridge and our other WWII Normandy model kits.
